Qualifications
· The desire and ability to work with and advocate for all populations, including the disabled and vulnerable
· Must have experience managing mental health disorders in a health & wellness services environment
· Ideal candidate has degree in Human Services or related field
· Experienced providing support to individuals with disabilities and challenging behaviors.
· Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
· Basic Computer Skills, experience using Thera a plus!
· Empathy, enthusiasm, and a passion and dedication for helping others.
· Master’s degree & License as LGPC, LGSW, LCPC, or CPRP/CPR Certified Rehabilitation Counselor
· Demonstrated leadership in providing clinical services, supervision, great oral and written communication skills, time management, organizational skills, conflict resolution, use of computer programs (MS Office, MS Publisher, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
· Preferred two years of experience working with children with emotional disturbance and/or adults with persistent mental illness. Having knowledge of COMAR regulations for OMHC, SUGD, & PRP is a plus.

Full Job Description:
Responsible for organizing program services and support to facilitate an individual’s recovery, including the individual’s ability to make decisions about their own life and create opportunities for choice in the home, schools or work, and community
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the program and implementation of rehabilitation services
- Employ and supervise appropriate staff to conduct rehab services to client participating in the program
- Provide orientation of new staff including coordinating 40hours of training
- Collect monthly staff invoices, review invoices for accuracy, and sign before submitting to director or to billing
- Review and sign client’s daily contact notes/monthly progress notes and record in client tracking record
- Educate direct service staff (Rehab Coordinator) on how to provide rehabilitation services that correlate to the goals identified in the individual’s IRP
- Conduct staff meetings weekly for planning and assessment of staff development
- Conduct on-site trainings and coordinate off-site trainings when necessary
- Conduct intake/assessments/IRP development and Face-to-Face screenings with clients
- Enter authorizations/IRP’s into authorization system
- Reinforce company policies; COMAR regulatory requirements, and other regulatory agency requirements
- Meet with program director weekly to present updates, discuss staff concerns, program concerns, and regulatory concerns
- Attend quarterly PRP meetings with CSA and complete required documentation
