Maintenance Mechanic - Manufacturing Company

Express Employment is currently seeking skilled Maintenance Mechanics for a leading manufacturing company in Fresno, CA.

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a vital role in the upkeep and improvement of equipment and facility conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the success of a large-scale operation.

Schedule & Pay:

• Salary: $24-32 per hour (DOE)
• Shift time to be determined based on agreement
• Evaluation to Hire and/or Direct Hire opportunity

Responsibilities: 

• Conducting preventive maintenance procedures according to the PM schedule and under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Performing maintenance repairs and addressing assigned events.
• Troubleshooting and repairing machinery, equipment, infrastructure, and facilities.
• Diagnosing and replacing faulty electrical elements, including motors, relays, PLCs, and switches.
• Contributing to production facility improvement projects.
• Managing spare parts inventory.
• Assisting with production support activities as needed.
• Ensuring compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintaining general housekeeping and cleanliness of equipment and facility.
• Performing additional maintenance activities such as welding, cutting, grinding, and fabrication of parts or pieces (preferred but not required).
• Fulfilling other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: 

• Previous experience in a manufacturing maintenance or related environment.
• Proficiency in performing preventive maintenance and electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Strong adherence to verbal and/or written instructions.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends if required.
• Availability to work on a set schedule.
• High school diploma required.
• Trade/technical schooling (preferred but not required).
• Proficiency in reading, speaking, and understanding English.
