One of our long time clients is looking for an Manufacturing Inventory Control Specialist to join their ever growing team in the Utica area.

Manufacturing Inventory Control Specialist Functions:

• Oversee and manage inventory control processes and procedures
• Ensure accurate tracking, recording, and reporting of inventory levels
• Conduct regular audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management practices
• Develop and maintain inventory control systems and databases
• Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment orders as needed
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Perform data collection and analysis to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement preventive measures
• Maintain accurate records of stock movements, including shipping and receiving

Manufacturing Inventory Control Specialist Qualifications:

• Proven experience in materials management and inventory control in a manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques
• Strong knowledge of stock management principles and practices
• Familiarity with materials handling equipment and systems
• Excellent data collection and analysis skills
• Ability to conduct root cause analysis to identify process inefficiencies
• Experience in sourcing materials from suppliers
• Knowledge of order fulfillment processes and procedures
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving operations

Shift: 5:30AM to 4:00PM, Monday thru Thursday

Starting Pay: $20.00/hour DOE
