Machine Operator / Fabricator

Located in New Orleans, LA

Salary: $18 - $33.50 / hour

We are looking for Machine Operators/Fabricators to work for a locally owned and operated wholesale glass manufacturer.  This position pays between $18.00 per hour to $33.50 per hour, depending on experience.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling glass from tables, and rolling racks, for eight to twelve hours daily.
• Transporting materials, including glass, from one position to another safely.
• Read and attach appropriate labels and tags to products.
• Inspecting product for any abnormalities and notifying the supervisor immediately of any issues.

Requirements:

• Able to accurately read a tape measure.
• Able to lift up to 80 pounds without assistance.
• Able to lift up to 160 pounds with assistance.
• Experience with fabricating, cutting stone or tile, operating production machinery, CNC programming, millwork, or carpentry.
