Maintenance Technician

Express Employment is partnered up with a local Ames, Iowa company seeking a maintenance technician to join their team! This position is full time, long term and will be $20/HR.

Schedule: 2nd shift 

• Mon-Fri 1PM to 9PM

Maintenance Duties:

• Preventative care and repairs of facility and equipment. Inspection and troubleshooting equipment as needed.
• Installation and maintaining equipment used during manufacturing process. Including modifications and fabrications as necessary.
• Participate and drive safety and quality through all maintenance duties.
• Assisting plant engineer with other duties as needed.

Maintenance Skills/Experience: 

• Prior mechanical experience troubleshooting electrical systems including 3 Phase, Single Phase and DC.
• Experience working with mechanical systems including pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical motors with gearing and belt systems.
• Need 1+ year of prior experience in maintenance field.
