A great company in Ola is looking for several Planer Operators!
Job Duties:
Ensure safe work practices and follow safety procedures.
Follow work instructions and monitor equipment performance.
Identify and communicate production and quality concerns.
Maintain good industrial housekeeping at workstations and other work areas.
Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.
Monitor gauges, monitors, and surroundings to ensure the safe operation of equipment.
Must comply with corporate safety lockout program.
Must wear safety equipment, i.e.: safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed boots, and other PPE as required.
Operate modern sawmill and planer equipment.
Perform basic care and preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment and machinery.
Train in various aspects of sawmill and planer manufacturing processes.
Troubleshoot equipment and notify maintenance personnel of any issues.
