Machinist

Located in Philipsburg, PA

Salary: $17 - $22

Do you have some machining skills? Some trade school or vo-tech experience? Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Machinist/Pressman for a busy Philipsburg manufacturer.

Hours and pay for Machinist:

* $17 - $22/hour dependent on experience 

* M-F 7am - 3:30pm with some OT 

 

Duties for Machinist/Pressman:

* Machinist/pressman will perform metal machining and create parts to use in manufacturing.  Use of lathes, mills, drill presses, micrometers and calipers.  Experience turning machining process is a strong plus.  Some blueprint reading required for customer specifications. Metal working skills. 

 

Qualifications for Machinist/Pressman: 

* Machinist will need at least a HS Diploma, some trade school or Vo-Tech preferred

* 2+ years of experience operating lathes, drill presses, mills and more.  

* Must be able to interpret drawings and work well with engineering and the production staff
