Job Description: 

As a CNC Machinist, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process by operating, set-up and/or programing CNC machines to produce precise components. Your expertise will ensure the efficient and accurate operation of our equipment, meeting the specifications and quality standards of our clients.

Responsibilities:

1. Interpretation of Drawings and Dimensions:
   • Ensure accurate processing of components by interpreting drawings and dimensions.
   • Design, fabricate, and install component fixtures to support part processing.
2. Quality Measurements and Adjustments:
   • Perform quality measurements, check dimensions, analyze data, and make adjustments to meet part specifications.
   • Run and measure to close and exact tolerances.
3. Equipment Operation:
   • Operate shop equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
   • Set up and run CNC equipment, demonstrating proficiency in program interpretation and ensuring part compliance.
4. Documentation and Records:
   • Complete documentation, records, and information required for each component.

Requirements:

1. Education and Experience:
   • High school diploma or GED, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred.
   • Technical degree may substitute for some experience.
2. Technical Competencies:
   • Prior experience with CNC Lathes and/or Mills is required.
   • Basic training on machine operations or equivalent machine knowledge with demonstrated operational skills.
3. Physical Requirements:
   • Some positions may require lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds.

Purpose of Role:The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and adjusting various machines, including drill press, engine lathe, turret lathe, CNC lathe, and machining center. The goal is to perform established and standard machining operations to produce precision parts 

Qualifications:

1. Educational Background:
   • GED or High School Diploma required.
2. Experience:
   • 3+ years of experience as a CNC Machinist preferred (set up/operator).
   • Experience working with Fanuc controls./Mazatrol and G&M Code

Compensation: Competitive pay starting at $25+ for the first shift with premium differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts.
