Minimum 4 years experience as Cook in a school setting 

Knowledge of food service (UDA standards a plus)

Knowledge with scratch base cooking, following recipes, and working with/handling knives

Position: Cook (Minimum 4 years in a school or restaurant)

 

Location: Glenwood IL

 

Type of position: Temporary 

 

Shift days and times/subject to change: Must be able to work between the hours of 10:00am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday. 

 

Pay: $18.00/hour

 

Job skills/requirements:

• Ability to prepare food from fresh ingredients
• Knowledge of production and state mandates
• Will assist head cook with preparing various foods
• Experience with setup, prep, serving line in cafeteria
•  
• Wash dishes
• Put away orders/clean/empty garbage/any other duties as assigned.
• Monitor student workers on their assigned jobs
• Positive Attitude – Works well with others
• Ability to communicate well with company staff and students
• Other small duties as assigned

 

Dress code: Casual, (nonslip footwear - employee must purchase), school provides aprons/head coverings
