We're seeking an experienced Staff Accountant/ Tax Preparer for a locally owned tax prep and accounting firm. This role will be performing a range of accounting and tax preparation procedures including assisting in preparation of financial statements, preparing analytical reviews, prepare various types of returns (individual, corporate, partnership), interface with clients to review and apply accounting and tax principle, reconciling accounts, analyzing balance sheets, preparing and posting journal entries, compiling and preparing sales tax returns, and compiling and preparing payroll tax returns.
