We are currently seeking a proficient Aerospace Quality Inspector to ensure the adherence of our aerospace components and systems to quality standards and regulatory requirements. The role involves conducting meticulous inspections, performing comprehensive tests and measurements, and analyzing data to verify compliance with specifications. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in aerospace manufacturing and quality inspection, a thorough comprehension of aerospace industry standards and regulations, and the ability to effectively collaborate with production and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of aerospace components and systems throughout various stages of production to ascertain adherence to quality standards and regulatory prerequisites.
• Utilize a diverse array of tools and equipment, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators, to execute tests and measurements.
• Analyze inspection findings to detect trends and areas for enhancement, and communicate these insights to the production and quality teams.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure that products meet both customer specifications and regulatory standards.
• Maintain meticulous records of inspections and testing outcomes while adhering to safety protocols to uphold a secure work environment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• At least 3 years of prior experience in aerospace manufacturing and quality inspection.
• Profound familiarity with aerospace industry standards and regulations, such as AS9100 and NADCAP.
• Proficiency in interpreting and comprehending engineering drawings and specifications.
• Extensive experience with various inspection tools and equipment, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proficiency in identifying defects and non-conformities.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to propose effective corrective actions.
• Excellent communication skills and the capability to function harmoniously within a team environment.
• Preferred experience in aerospace component inspection employing X-ray, ultrasonic, or other non-destructive testing (NDT) methods.
