A local machining and fabrication shop is needing:

 

Programmer/Estimator: 

• Proficient reading of precision measuring instruments (tape measure, calipers, micrometer, bore gage, telescoping gage w/ micrometer)
• Capable of reading and maintaining .0001 of an inch measurement.
• Full understanding of Drawings and Prints
• Able to set up Lathe/Mill verifying zero and reference points, setting tools registers, offsets.
• 2 years of job shop experience
• Ability to take directions from Department Supervisors.
• Goal orientated able to finish task at hand.
• Calculating skills preferred (basic math, geometry, trigonometry)

 

Experience:

• Machining: 2 years (Preferred)
• CNC: 2 years (Preferred)
