AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection) Operator

Salary: $16.75

Full-Time | Mon-Fri | Midnight (3rd) Shift | 10:30 pm - 7:00 am | $16.75/hr

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect the inner layers prior to manufacturing multilayer printed circuit boards.
• Verify the conductivity of inner layer circuits.
• Post etch punch after AOI is complete.
• Review AOI inspection for accurate, consistent detection of SMT paste, component placement, and solder joint defects.
• Load programs per documentation.
• Using magnification aids and stereomicroscopes, inspect populated printed circuits.

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 standards (if not currently certified, will be responsible for completing certification training upon hire)
• Ability to read, write and otherwise communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to sit for most of the working day.
• Must be able to read and understand work routers, assembly drawings, component identification and component policies.

Required Experience

• Minimum one year experience in electronics manufacturing environment.
• High School Diploma or GED
