Job Title: Team Lead (Landscaping/Hardscaping)

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Team Lead to join our landscaping team. The ideal candidate should have expertise in operating a mini excavator, skid steer, and have knowledge of reading blueprints and using a laser level. As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a group of workers and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure that construction projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain a mini excavator, skid steer, and other equipment to complete assigned tasks.
• Interpret blueprints and use a laser level to ensure the project is completed to specifications.
• Supervise and lead a team of workers in landscape/hardscape activities.
• Coordinate with other team leaders, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project timelines and budgets are met.
• Inspect the work of your team to ensure it meets safety and quality standards.
• Train and mentor junior team members.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a landscape/hardscape-related role.
• Proficiency in operating a mini excavator, skid steer, and other construction equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use a laser level.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet project deadlines.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments.
• Valid driver's license.
