Job Title: Metal Fabricator

 Location: Oakville, MO

 Salary: $26 / Hour

 Schedule: Mon-Fri Shift 7:00am - 3:30pm

Our company is seeking an experienced Metal Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The Metal Fabricator will be responsible for using various fabrication techniques to produce high-quality metal parts according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and be committed to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate metal parts according to customer specifications, using techniques such as cutting, bending, welding, and machining.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine fabrication requirements.
• Set up and operate fabrication equipment, including saws, shears, press brakes, welding equipment, and machining centers.
• Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, and make adjustments to fabrication processes as necessary.
• Ensure that all parts are properly identified and tracked throughout the fabrication process.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including regular maintenance of fabrication equipment and work area.
• Communicate with production and quality teams to ensure that all parts meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including identifying areas for process improvement and recommending solutions.
• Assist with other manufacturing tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in metal fabrication.
• Familiarity with fabrication equipment, including saws, shears, press brakes, welding equipment, and machining centers.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
