Overview: We are currently seeking 3 Skilled Maintenance Electricians to join our team at our facility located in Detroit, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC troubleshooting, programming, electrical troubleshooting, and wiring. 

Job Environment: Must be comfortable with working underground- work in the city, under the city!

Schedules: 1st and 3rd shift openings - 1st shift: 6am-4pm, 3rd shift: 8pm-6am.

Compensation: Salary 110k-115k (open to negotiation) with comprehensive benefits package- positions will interview prior to starting to asses' skills! 

Job Scope: 60% preventative work, 40% on demand repairs, to include installations, and process production.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize PLC troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair electrical issues.
• Program PLC systems to optimize equipment performance.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting to identify and resolve problems.
• Complete PLC wiring tasks to ensure proper installation and functionality.
• Test motor-controlled devices, switch panels, transformers, generator windings, and other electrical equipment and components.
• Apply electrical theory and related knowledge to test operation of electrical machinery and electrical control equipment and circuitry.
• Work 480 VAC 3 phase motor control systems.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience with PLC troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in PLC programming.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience with PLC wiring.
• 6 years+ experience as an Electrician in an industrial environment required.
• Electrical experience supporting industrial operations including knowledge and troubleshooting experience to locate and diagnose trouble in electrical systems or equipment.
