Warehouse Shipper/Receiver(s)

Salary: $20-23/hour (based off exp.)

Express Employment Professionals (Cloverdale/Langley)'s client, one of western Canada's leading Produce wholesalers has an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Shipper/Receiver. The industry leader is waiting for you!

Immediate opening for a full-time Warehouse Shipper/Receiver. This position is full time, Monday to Friday morning and mid-morning shift range 6:00am to 6:30pm, with the occasional weekend coverage. Depending on where the volume is when they will schedule this person.   

(during the busy season the shift times also could change to a 9am/930am start shift based on volumes and arrival times, some flexibility will be required during seasonal peaks.)

Pay based on experience, though the client would like to hear your expectation prior to being presented for a potential interview. 

Responsibilities:

• Receiving orders in a timely fashion
• Operating pallet jacks & forklifts
• Maintain and organize inventory
• Picking and packing orders as required
• Preparing pertinent documentation for shipment of goods
• Receiving all incoming shipments and authorizing for correctness of product received
• Initiating claims for damaged goods, shortages/overages or incorrect product received

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with forklift equipment in warehouse setting
• Forklift Certification is an asset
• Excellent problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills
• Team player, adaptable, and energetic with a positive professional attitude
• Ability to work in high-paced environment
• Ability to work in climate controlled environment 6-10 degrees depending on the area.
