We are hiring an Instrument Controls Design Engineer for a refinery in Corpus Christi, TX! This is a direct hire opportunity. Relocation assistance is offered. Compensation is based on skills/experience.Client offers a generous benefits package including medical, dental, vision, ADD, disability, retirement, and paid vacation/time off.Schedule: 9/80 with every other Friday offResponsibilities:• Engage/coordinate technology selection with the various capabilities to provide a fit for purpose design and installation of the technical solution to meet the project objectives• Provide oversight and approval of the deliverables from engineering contractor to support the engineering and procurement effort• Support of Factory Acceptance TestingQualifications:• Experience in instrument and/or controls engineering, project/industrial support (selection, design, planning, and implementation)• Experience working in continuous petrochemical process manufacturing environment where responsibilities involved Operations, Maintenance, or Engineering.• Bachelor's degree in engineering• Working knowledge of Emerson Delta V DCS platform and PLC platforms
