Express Employment Professionals is hiring multiple Electromechanical Technicians on 2nd or 3rd shift as well as for a daytime weekend shift. Pay will be up to $40/hr based on experience and shift. These are direct hire positions great for recent graduates or experienced Electromechanical Technicians alike. An aptitude test will be required in order to be considered. Full benefits are available when starting in these roles in addition to a $5,000 hire-on bonus once you complete your probationary period.

Position Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic errors
• Install, maintain, diagnose and repair electronic, electrical, and wiring components in a manufacturing environment
• Bending conduit up to 480 volts
• Experience working with all different electrical wire and have knowledge identifying the correct size
• Use a variety of hand tools such as: wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, read blueprints, SOPs, and manuals and schematics
• Work in a high stress and fast paced work environment
• Handles waste and hazardous materials
• Other duties as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills:

• 2-year degree in Electromechanical Technology, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering and/or equivalent work experience required
• 2 years of experience working in the field preferred, but is not required with proper education
• Must be able to read blueprints, schematics, and PLCs
• Experience with AC and DC variables and frequency
• Familiarity with National Electrical Codes
• Experience with industrial maintenance, electrical maintenance, or machine maintenance a plus

Schedule/Pay:

• 2nd or 3rd shift during the week
• 1st shift weekend schedule
• Pay up to $40/hr depending on experience and shift
• $5,000 hire on bonus after completion of probationary period!
