A trucking company in Boardman is looking for experienced Diesel Mechanics for 1st or 2nd shift opportunities.

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers
• Knowledge of EPA 2017 engines
• Knowledge of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems
• Knowledge of engine Diagnostic Software, Peterbilt Davie, Mack PTT and Cummins Insite preferred
• Conduct regular maintenance and service trucks
• Look for defects and repair concerns
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Diagnose problems and plan repairs
• Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks
• Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles
• Basic repairs such as brakes, wiring, welding, changing tires, etc.
• Operate a tow motor or jack multiple times per day
• Working outside in different weather conditions
• Some travel up to 1.5 hours away is required
• Data entry to update work orders and files with notes
• Other duties as assigned

1st Shift: Monday-Friday 5am OR 7am-3pm

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 4pm-12am OR 4pm-2:30am

**Hours can be flexible upon discussion**

 

Pay Rate: $20 - $38 based on experience and certifications
