Fire Watch

Salary: $15/hr

Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a reliable and dedicated Fire Watch to join a company in the Henderson, Tx area. We are a full-service Staffing Firm where we work with companies in East Texas that have full-time, part-time and temporary. Since we cannot guarantee placement, there is no fee for using our services!

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean work area, standing posted and watching for any smoke, fire, and hazardous signs in the work area. The working hours for this position are 6a-6p.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean work area
• Stand posted and watch for any smoke, fire, and hazardous signs in the work area
• Ability to stand in one area for hours and have a good eye for signs of smoke
• Alert everyone and spray out the fire in the event of an emergency
• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
• Will work Fri & Sat 6a-6p with the potential for full-time employment

Requirements:

• Prior experience with fire watch or related field preferred but not required
• Must have the ability to stand in one area for hours
• Must have a good eye for signs of smoke and other hazards
• Must be able to act quickly and calmly in the event of an emergency
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Must have strong communication and problem-solving skills
