The Electrical Assembler would be responsible for assembling electro/mechanical equipment. In this role you will be required to read and interpret instructions, assemble parts and use tools to fit electronic components
Duties & Qualifications
- Soldering experience is desired
- Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment with the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- J-STD soldering skills/certification (will train)
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts
- Attention to detail and ability to document each step of the assembly process according to written requirements
- Able to work with chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol, acetone, potting compounds, Loctite, etc.
- Excellent manual dexterity handling fragile electronic components
- Reliable, consistent output, attention to detail and quality of work
- Use of hand tools and equipment such as soldering iron/pot, VM, other specialized test equipment
- Work with minimal supervision individually or in team environment
- Participate in process improvements
- Keep work area safe, orderly and clean
- Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly and effectively
- Ability to follow ESD prevention guidelines
