Full-Time Laborer Position – Steel Company (Kansas)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable full-time Laborer to join our team at a reputable steel company in Kansas. This position offers a competitive hourly wage, with opportunities for training and professional development. Forklift experience is required, and we are willing to provide training on CNC machines.
Job Details:
- Position: Full-Time, Temp to Hire
- Salary: $16.00 per hour, paid weekly
- Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor and warehouse duties
- Operate CNC machines (training available)
- Handle materials, including lifting, pushing, and pulling as necessary
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Must have forklift experience
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately (down to the 1/16th of an inch)
- At least one year of experience in a similar role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures
Physical Requirements:
- Moderate physical activity, including standing, bending, and lifting
- Steel toe boots are required for safety
