Salary: $20.00/hr- $25.00/hr

Location: Yakima, WA

Schedule: Full-time. 6:45pm-7am

Pay: $20-$25/hour

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Strictly adheres to Company and Plant safety policies and procedures
• Able to measure and weigh parts using calipers, protractors, scales, tape measure, and other gages
• Begin to understand extruder mechanics, i.e., Break down, clean up, & set up
• Assist with the color matching process to gain familiarity
• Assist with line set up and be able to identify downstream equipment
• Work toward being able to set up and run one type of single extrusion material
• Become proficient with material tracking and tagging procedure and execute accordingly
• Load and monitor extruder hoppers to assure material flow
• Acquire an understanding of physical inspection criteria and notify senior operators or supervisor if defects are observed
• Understand and execute packaging requirements as related to VSW documentation
• Able to effectively clean and load material dryers

 

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift 60 pounds repetitively
• Able to work up to 12 hour rotating shifts
• Able to stand on concrete for extended periods of time

 

Work Environment: 

• Be able to work in a production environment
• Able to walk, stand and otherwise perform job functions on concrete floors with safety boots/shoes
• Works in manufacturing environment occasionally being exposed to dust, odors, fumes and noise
