A major company in Savannah, GA is seeking a motivated, eager and dependable Diesel Mechanic who is confident enough to work independently with a drive to grow, and a commitment to quality.

 Duties & Responsibilities:

• Maintain diesel motors and other equipment
• Obtains parts from stock and hands tools to mechanic.
• Assists in reassembly, and cleans tools and working area.
• Disassembles and assembles equipment, using mechanic's hand tools
• Washes parts and tools with cleaning fluids, such as gasoline or naphtha.
  

Requirements:

• Must have 6 month – 1 year of basic knowledge with engine repairs and heavy equipment
• Basic computer skills preferred for data entry into maintenance systems.
• Proficiency in the use of shop tools required
• Willingness to grow and expand your knowledge
