Express Employment Professionals is seeking to hire a Facility Maintenance Technician for a local school district. The Facility Maintenance Technician will be responsible for basic maintenance, light carpentry and plumbing, and other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Changing ceiling and floor tiles

• Handling plumbing issues

• Replacing light fixtures, door knobs, etc

• Operate floor cleaning machines each day

• Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the culture of safety

• All other duties as assigned

 

Pay Rate: $15.00/HR

Schedule: Monday - Friday; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM 

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.

• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.

• Must be highly dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic.

• Plumbing experience preferred

• Light carpentry experience preferred

• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Able to lift 65 lbs. from floor to shoulder level occasionally.

• Ability to frequently exert the pound force limits for push/pull 50lb (no wheels) or 100lb (wheels).

• Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands and fingers.

• Requires frequent repetitive movements, i.e. hammering, turning wrenches, screwdrivers and impact tools.

• Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers.

• Will be required to work at a minimum height of four feet off of the ground.
