General Laborer

Located in Muskego, WI

Salary: $16 - $19/hr

1st shift

Monday – Thursday, 5:30am – 4:00pm

OR

Monday- Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm

Pay Rate: $16/HR-$19/HR 

 

Our client makes high end wood products for golf courses around the US and works with EPAY wood. Looking for someone with wood working experience, carpentry, cabinet making, flooring installer and any other experience that was hands on woodworking.

 

Job Description:

• Woodworking Production
• Dip, brush, or spray assembled articles with protective or decorative finishes, such as stain, varnish, paint, or lacquer
• Bore holes for insertion of screws or dowels, by hand or using boring machines
• Perform final touch-ups with sandpaper or steel wool
• Cut timber to the right size and shape and trim parts of joints to ensure a snug fit, using hand tools, such as planes, chisels, or wood files
• Trim, sand, or scrape surfaces or joints to prepare articles for finishing
• Set up or operate machines, including power saws, jointers, mortisers, tenoners, molders, or shapers, to cut, mold, or shape wood stock or wood substitutes
• Produce or assemble components of articles
• Verify dimensions or check the quality or fit of pieces to ensure adherence to specifications

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year wood working experience
• Mechanical assembly experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50.lbs
• Ability to stand throughout shift
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools
• Ability to read blueprints
