Description:

General production labor job. The job typically requires the ability to follow demonstrated directions. Training is typically given on-the-job, or equivalent. Perform a variety of production duties, such as tending machines, handling product, clean-up, visual sorting or inspection, packing, or performing other operations that can be learned on-the-job. May use pallet jacks to move material in the work area. Work requires frequent moving, frequent exertion of moderate to heavy physical effort or frequent standing.

 

Schedule: Monday-Thursday from 3:30PM to 2:00AM

 

1-2 years of experience with Press Break Machine required

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assemble materials and equipment as required.
  • Operate machinery to assist in the production process.
  • Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Assist in loading raw materials to the production lines.
  • Move materials from one place to another as needed.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Communicate effectively with coworkers.
  • Collect trash, debris and other waste to keep workplace clean and safe.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.  The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; balance; bend and reach with hands and arms; use feet to operate foot pedal operation; and talk or hear.  Occasionally required to climb ladders, sit, stoop, kneel, squat, crouch, or crawl.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include; close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
