Express Employment is now hiring for a Yard Hand in the Gaston area for a company that works with granite and stone for countertops. This role is working outside all day everyday, no matter the weather. They are paying $13-14 based on experience with hours of Monday through Friday from 7AM until 5PM.
Job Duties include:
-Walking along side forklift to guide the driver through the yard of inventory safely
-Helping to strap in the pieces of granite safely
- Placing large clamps onto the pieces
-Lifting up to 50 pounds manually to move smaller pieces
-Cleaning up the yard
-Helping with inventory counts
This position has room to grow and is looking for someone to start as a yard hand and cross train in the shop and doing installation. Steel toes are required. With this company, you must be on time and at work or they will end the assignment. They need someone reliable. If the right candidate comes along this role would hire on to the company.
