Express Employment Professionals Conway AR is now hiring for CONSTRUCTION LABOR. Pay will be $16-18/HR depending on experience. Shift will vary but typically be day shift.
Job Description: The Construction Laborer is responsible for assisting the crew whatever is needed to progress the job. This position will perform tasks involving physical labor within heavy construction project and demolition sites. They may be required to operate hand and other power tools of various types. This position is one in which a momentary lapse of attention may result in grave and immediate danger to themselves and others; therefore, this position is classified as safety sensitive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for cleaning of job sites and equipment.
- May be required to dig trenches, tend to equipment, etc.
- Assembling and disassembling forms for carpenters.
- Required to assist other craft workers with whatever their needs may be.
- Responsible for loading and unloading materials to the appropriate location according to project plans and specifications.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to follow directions and operate equipment safely.
- Must have some mechanical ability/knowledge.
- Must have a working knowledge of construction jobsite activities.
- Must be able to climb, stoop, bend, and squat as required for various duties.
- Must be able work outdoors in extreme temperatures, both hot and cold.
- Must adhere to safety requirements as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
Valid Drivers License Preferred. Background Check Required. Drug Test Required.
