Processing / Sanitation $20/HR

Located in New London, WI

Salary: $20/HR

Hours: Monday- Friday

1st Shift 6:30am-3pm

2nd Shift 3pm-11pm

Pay: $20/HR

Duties:

• Complete the production run handed over from 1st shift and transition to sanitation once production is completed.
• Safely and efficiently operate production machines and equipment for various production tasks, such as forming, filling, wrapping, and packaging.
• Ensure accuracy and legibility of information on all production documentation, including ingredient and packaging lot code information, quantity data, in-process checks, and production downtime.
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding and the ability to rotate into different processing positions, including batching, barrel dumping, ingredient batching, and track.
• Inspect all raw cheeses for mold, dirt, or unsanitary conditions and discard any unusable product.
• Organize the storage of ingredients and raw cheese supplies efficiently.
• Complete training on hand trucks, forklifts, and other power equipment necessary for the role.
• Use the cheese scale to accurately weigh the required amount of cheese slabs requested by each formulation.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Supervisor to report any questionable quality or unsanitary findings.
• Responsible for the disassembly, cleaning, sanitizing, and reassembly of all production equipment.
• Regularly check all gaskets and O-rings for wear and replace when necessary.
• Complete all required daily documentation.
