Heavy Equipment Operators

Located in Charlotte, NC

Salary: $25-$32/hour DOE

Express Employment Professionals is recruiting for a Heavy Equipment Operator for our client located in Charlotte, NC.  

Hours 7am-5pm

$25-$32/hr.  Depending on Exp.

Responsibilities: 

• Operate track hoe, excavator
• Dig trench pipes
• Load and unload trucks with equipment
• Must be able to perform manual labor as well as operate equipment
• Inspect work for any minor defects and make corrections.
• Works in a safe manner and follows all safety policies while performing job duties
• Maintains open communication with supervisor regarding safety concerns
• Performs various other job duties as assigned and needed
• Maintains a good attendance record as it is critical for success
• Demonstrates a good work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity

Requirements:

• Must be a team player and work OT when needed
• Must have reliable transportation

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds consistently, as well as grip, work over head, pull at chest height, bend, stand and walk for 8+ hours daily
• Flexible to work in a fast paced, changing environment
• Able to work 8+ hours on your feet
• Must be able to safely manage repetitive use of ladders and stairs
• Ability to train, be trained and take direction respectfully
• Ability to work in a team with others
