Sacramento/Rancho Cordova based company is seeking a dependable and experienced Class A Driver to join their team. The candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials between various locations, operating a tractor-trailer truck, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries. The ideal candidate should have excellent driving skills, a strong sense of responsibility, and a commitment to safety. 

 

Position is full time, long term!

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate a tractor-trailer truck to transport goods and materials to various locations
• Follow all safety procedures and regulations while driving and operating the truck
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in good working condition
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including time, date, and location of delivery, as well as any problems or issues encountered during delivery
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as bills of lading and shipping documents, are completed accurately and submitted on time
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations and ensure the truck is operated in a safe and efficient manner
• Maintain a clean and organized truck, including performing routine maintenance and cleaning as needed

 

Requirements:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a tractor-trailer truck
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Excellent driving skills and knowledge of traffic laws and regulations
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to safety
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed

 

Pay: $25.00-30.00/hour, DOE

 

Schedule: Monday-Friday, hours are flexible with overtime as needed
