Battery Cell Formation Operator

An electronics manufacturing in Ann Arbor is seeking a battery cell formation operator. You’ll be responsible for loading/unloading, transferring, and scanning battery cells.

What you’ll be doing as the Battery Cell Formation Operator

• Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
• Work with team to move battery cells through prescribed formation process at daily rate
• Load and unload batches of battery cells between aging ovens and electrical charge/discharge equipment
• Manually transfer individual cells into position in bins accurately and efficiently
•  Accurately scan battery cell and batch code numbers into data tracking system

What we look for in a Battery Cell Formation Operator

• 3 months of electronic assembly or manufacturing experience
• Ability to lift 40lbs loads multiple times
• HS diploma or equivalent

Additional information for the Battery Cell Formation Operator

• $18.50 hourly
• Rotating 2-week schedule
  - Week A (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
  - Week B (Wednesday and Thursday)
• Ann Arbor, 48103
