Job Title: Shop Laborer

Job Summary:

As a Shop Laborer, you will be an integral part of our manufacturing team, primarily responsible for
assisting with the fabrication and assembly of steel tanks. This position requires a strong
commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced
environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the fabrication and assembly of steel tanks according to engineering
specifications.
• Operate machinery and tools such as calipers, micrometers, grinders, drills, and saws
under supervision.
• Handle materials necessary for production, which may include lifting and positioning heavy
objects.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop floor to ensure a safe working
environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Support skilled laborers and welders in project completion tasks.
• Conduct basic quality control checks to ensure products meet the required standards.
• Report any machinery issues to the maintenance team to prevent operational delays.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or job-related coursework is a plus.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings.
• Strong manual dexterity and physical stamina; capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to following best safety
practices.

Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Capable of bending, squatting, lifting, and moving continuously during work hours.
• Able to handle outdoor assignments and withstand varied climate conditions if necessary.
