We are looking for a CMM programmer that knows Renishaw Modus or Camio software. Knowing PC DMIS, Calypso or any other CMM programming software is a plus. Should be able to read a blueprint and understand GD&T. This job entails writing inspection programs for customers, doing software demo to help salesmen and training new customers. Candidate must be able to work independently and there will be travel required about 40%-50% of the time.

Qualifications:

•The position requires an energetic individual with experience in blueprint/specification reading, programming (and use of) CMM's and basic metrology skills.

•High school diploma or equivalent.

•Functional and complete understanding of ASME 14.5 and how to apply its requirements.

•Proficient with basic trigonometry.

•Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, team oriented, and ability to deal with a wide variety of personalities and communication styles.

•Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.

•Excellent attention to detail.

•Ability to read work instructions and procedures in English.

•Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities:

•The individual must embrace a role in assuring defects do not reach the customer.

•Program in PC-DMIS and perform CMM inspection of parts as assigned.

•Use standard metrology tools, engineering drawings, specifications and standards to inspect machined parts and assemblies for conformity to design requirements.

•Complete inspection documentation as required to document product conformity.

•Complete First Article Inspection documentation to the requirements of AS9102.

•Perform measurement and test equipment calibration as assigned.

•Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintain them over time.

•Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency.

•Follow work rules and standard safety regulations at all times.

•Maintain safe working practices and ensure area is clean and free of any possible dangerous situations.
