Salary: $65,000 - $80,000

The Specialized Recruiting Group division of Express Employment Professionals in Ithaca, NY is seeking a Quality Engineer for a Direct Hire placement with an Ithaca company. The Quality Engineer will oversee the quality assurance area to ensure consistency, efficiency, and successful implementation of quality assurance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in quality improvement, cost reduction, ISO implementation and compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Material Science, Quality Assurance, or an applicable science/engineering field preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 4+ years of experience in quality improvement including ISO implementation and compliance
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Supervisory experience and leadership qualities
• Project management experience helpful
