Salary: $20-23 / Hour

Welder

1st Shift: Monday - Friday

Hours: 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay Rate: $20/HR - $23/HR

 

Job Description:

• Build, repair, or retrofit parts and equipment in a timely manner
• Drive a forklift, operate overhead and jib cranes and hoists as needed
• Work from drawings and job layouts using rule, square, templates, and gauges
• Requires thorough knowledge of welding techniques, material characteristics, and structural fundamentals
• Fit and position weldments having several parts
• Position, align, fit, and weld parts to form complete units or subunits following blueprints and layout specifications, and using jigs, welding torches, and hand tools
• Set up and operate fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, and drill presses, to bend, cut, form, punch, drill and assemble various metal components

 

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Welding: 5 - 7 years (flux core up to 3/32 wire & MIG)
• Fitting: 2 year
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50-lbs.
