Production Associate

Located in Brookfield, WI

Salary: $16.00 / Hour

Production Associate

1st Shift: Monday - Friday

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm  *Candidate must be available on weekends for special projects on occasion

Pay Rate: $16/HR

 

Job Description:

• Receiving technology and checking it into the system. This includes unpacking laptops or tablets, labeling with barcode and using an RF scanner to enter each piece into the computer system
• Plugging laptops power cords in to ensure they work properly
• Assisting in the imaging process for laptops
• Set laptops up on racks and plug ethernet cord into each laptop. This allows all computers to be controlled with one main computer. Techs will image computers, Material handlers will assist in setting up computers on racks and once the process has run taking down the laptops racking accordingly and setting up the next round of laptops
• Green Delivery
• When technology is delivered it comes in cardboard boxes filled with packing equipment. All cardboard board and Styrofoam must be gathered and disposed of

 

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to bend, kneel and lift
• Lifting heavy weight is minimal but on occasion 50 lbs. of lifting may be involved
• Repetitive lifting of equipment weighing 5 – 10 lbs.
• Pushing and pulling. Laptops are put on carts for delivery. Though each individual piece of equipment is relatively light the carts holding 50 – 100 pieces will get heavy. Pushing and pulling of 250 lbs. is done as a team.
