Salary: $18.50HR

A company in Port Clinton, OH is looking for a Machinist/Welder/Fabricator!

 

1st shift: 8am - 4:30 pm, Monday-Friday!

Pay: $18.50HR!

 

Responsibilities:

• Read and understand weld symbols (or willing to learn).
• Welding various types of metals with various thicknesses: stainless steel, carbon steel, and
  aluminum.
• Produce welds of the correct size and shape with few defects in multiple positions
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Needs basic knowledge on how to run a manual lathe/mill. Some machines do have a
  digital readout.
• Needs to know how to use basic fabrication tools such as a drill press, sheer, bender, etc. 

Requirements: 

• MIG Welding, Some TIG welding experience a plus.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to read and write instructions.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Prior experience using Lathe, Drill Press, Shear, and Pan Brake a plus but will train on these machines.
• Self- motivated and able to work both independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Needs to be fit to move steel.
• Able to keep area(s) organized and clean.
• Work well with others and take direction, self-starter.
• We can provide some training but we are not looking for a blank slate.
