Pay Rate: $17+ per hour

Job Type: Full time, Temp to Perm,

Schedule: 1^st Shift

Job Overview: Prepare steel surfaces and parts for plastisol coating for processing in an industrial oven; review finish, coat products using a paint spray gun.

Requirements:

• Working experience metal surface prep and painting in spray booth painting/paint gun use
• Trained in operating a forklift
• Proficient with hand and power tools
• 2+ years of industrial experience or autobody work
• Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare steel surfaces for painting using grinders, applying primer
• Inspect parts for dents, scratches, or areas that need additional primer
• Perform repairs or re-work as needed before painting
• Transport primed pieces using a forklift
• Properly mix and apply paints and hardeners to ensure a thorough, correct, and complete application on all surfaces
• Must be able to use a Spray Gun

• Able to troubleshoot and problem solve
• Mechanically inclined and enjoy learning new things

Education Required:

• H.S. or GED required
• Additional technical training a plus
