Waste Water Technician $20/hr.

Salary: $20/hr.

Express Employment Professionals of Long Beach is seeking an Technician to learn Waste Water processing in San Pedro.  This is a great assignment to learn processing and get a long term job.  Extensive training provided.  Once trained and hired by company great pay increase opportunity.  

 POSITION:  Waste Water Processing Technician    
LOCATION:  San Pedro
PAY:  $20/hr.

HOURS:  Saturday-Tuesday 11PM-9:30AM & Sunday-Thursday 8:30AM-5:30PM  (Rotating shift, must be available to work both shifts)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Change out strainer trains, cleaning strainer baskets, emptying wash bays
• Assist with truck offloading
• Assist with Quality Assurance and control of injection fluid
• Serve as a repair and maintenance helper of operational equipment
• Assist operational personnel with site upkeep
• Complete reporting paperwork
• General site cleaning

Qualifications - Knowledge, Skills and Experience 

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Willing to work hard
• Accept and follow instructions exactly
• Ability to stay on task
• Ability to work 10 hours days, primarily standing
• Teachable, listen, learn the new tasks
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent team player
