Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced CNC Mill or Lathe Operator to join our team! You will operate and repair a variety of CNC lathes or Mills.
Essential Job Functions:
• Set up and operate CNC milling machines to perform precision machining operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and attachments for each job
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good working condition
Job Classification Requirements:
• 3-5 years exp setting up and operating CNC Mills or lathes
• Own his/her own measuring hand tools (mics, calipers, indicator & basic hand tools)
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills
• Attention to detail
• Familiarity with hand tools used in machining operations
• MUST have experience operating CNC milling machines or similar equipment
