Schedule: 1st shift Monday - Thursday 5:00am - 3:30pm

General Summary: Express is recruiting for a Baldwin, WI company in search of Welders.  We are looking for someone who can use measuring devices accurately, has experience interpreting prints and understands welding symbols

 

Job Duties:

• Works in conjunction with Welders, Team, and Shift Leaders to fabricate weldments per customer prints and specifications
• Capable of fitting up and welding complex weldments and parts
• Prepares parts for welding including deburring and joint preparation
• Cleans and repairs all welds in preparation for finishing
• Meets time requirements for assigned work
•  Assists in training Welders to improve their skills and knowledge

 Requirements:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, write simple correspondence, and effectively communicate with customers and fellow employees
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Three to four years of welding and fitting experience
• Must have complete understanding of blueprints and specifications
• Must be able to interpret prints and understand welding symbols  
• Capable of working closely with others and giving work directions
