Salary: $17.00

JOB PURPOSE: Maintain warehouse inventory and cleanliness, deliver and pick up food donations as needed, and unload and stock food donations delivered to the Food Bank.

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: High School or equivalent. At least one-year warehouse, truck driving and forklift work experience preferred.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: Commercial truck driving with satisfactory driving history, Class “B” Driver’s License preferred and required operation of forklift.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pickup and delivery of food products local and out of town.
• Unload delivery trucks lifting up to 55 pounds.
• Pull food orders for each pantry.
• Receive, and check all incoming USDA commodities and products used in warehouse.
• Maintain and clean the warehouse, freezer and refrigerator.
• Operate a power lift truck and forklift for stacking, loading, and unloading.
• Must be able to perform the essential duties of the job description.
• Must have and maintain a valid Illinois Driver’s license Class “C”, reliable transportation and insurance as required by the State of Illinois.
• Other duties as requested by the Warehouse Manager.
