💼 Position: Welder

🌍 Location: Robertsdale, AL     

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 hour shift

Pay: Depending on experience  

 

🔹 Responsibilities:

  1. Fabricate metal fences, gates, and other structures according to blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  2. Perform MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding on various types of metal, including steel and aluminum.
  3. Operate welding equipment safely and efficiently, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  4. Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  5. Repair damaged fences and gates by cutting, welding, and replacing metal components as necessary.
  6. Assist in the assembly and installation of fencing materials on-site, working closely with installation teams.
  7. Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with regulations.
  8. Maintain welding tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
  9. Collaborate with other team members, including fabricators, installers, and supervisors, to complete projects on time and within budget.
  10. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance, punctuality, and professional conduct.

🔹 Skills and Experience Needed:

  1. Proven experience as a Welder, preferably in a construction or fencing environment.
  2. Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or ARC welding techniques, with the ability to produce high-quality welds on various metals.
  3. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
  4. Strong attention to detail and quality, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  5. Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy materials.
  6. Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
  7. Knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to welding and metal fabrication.
  8. Welding certification (e.g., AWS certification) is preferred but not required.
  9. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in welding is a plus.
