Express Employment Professionals in Lakewood, OH is seeking a Machine Operator for a food manufacturing and distribution facility on the east side of Cleveland, OH.

Pay Rate: $16.50

Shifts: All Shifts

Job Type: Full time, Temp to Perm

Job Overview: Start, operate, and monitor a machine that packages products

*This position will lead to being trained for other positions.  Opportunity for advancement.*

Responsibilities: 

• Machine start up, change-over and operation
• Make minor adjustments or repairs as needed
• Report any defects or issues to supervisor
• Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers, or other equipment and unloads finished products from the machine
• Quality control and inspection to make sure product meets standards for shipment
• Completes all necessary paperwork and forms

Requirements:

• Ability to continuously lift/bend/push/pull up to 50lbs
• 1-3 years experience in manufacturing environment
• Experience troubleshooting equipment
• Forklift operation
• Food manufacturing experience a plus!
• Meet production requirements
• Follow all safety protocols
• Able to work overtime and weekends when required
