Express Employment Professionals is currently hiring for an Assembler for second shift for a local manufacturer of air conditioning units. The Assembler will be responsible for using hand and power tools while following safety guidelines to aide in the production of HVAC units. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

• Operates hand and power tools (electrical, pneumatic, manual, or other) to install small components in the assembly process 
• Read and interpret blueprints 
• Build units to specification by installing correct parts specified by work instructions 
• Lifts and positions components for assembly 
• Inspect the quality of the parts and /or materials being delivered to the assembly line 
• Performs assembly work in a fast paced environment to ensure production times are met 
• Communicate with your team and others, In a professional and productive manner 
• Assist in other departments as needed 
• Report any defects or failures to Team Lead or Supervisor 
• Maintain a clean and well organized work area 

Pay:$16.11/HR

Schedule: 4:30pm - 2:30am ; Monday-Friday; Occasional mandatory OT on Saturdays

Requirements  

• Previous assembly experience is preferred
• Basic computer skills preferred
• Must be able to use basic hand and power tools and read a tape measure 
• Must be able to stand, bend, and move for long periods of time 
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
