Express Employment Professionals is looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join a local Tyler TX, company. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general mechanical and electrical maintenance on facilities related systems and equipment.
• The ability to use rigging equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution systems, pipefitting, plumbing welding, blueprint reading, and electrical work.
• General knowledge of mathematics, computerized work orders, ISO check, fork truck repairs, welding and cutting.
• Experience with fabrication of equipment and preventative maintenance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and repairs.
• Operate and maintain various hand and power tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve maintenance goals and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy materials, as well as stand and walk for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
