The Specialized Recruiting Group of Express Employment Professionals is recruiting an Accounts Payable Staff Accountant for a corporation based in Indianapolis, established over 80 years ago.

 

Accounts Payable Staff Accountant Job Summary:

• Accounts payable of all corporate and store level accounts
• Assist Accounts Payable to ensure expenses are appropriate and recorded timely
• Assist Accounts Payable Manager with reconciliations, journal entries, credit cards, customer service, daily pay cycles
• Provide customer support and communication to Accounting, Operations, and business partners to resolve any discrepancies
• Special projects as needed including process improvement initiatives. 

Pay/Benefits:

• Direct-hire opportunity
• Pay starts at $25-$27/hr

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

 

Requirements:

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or similar role
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles
• Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Excel
• Peoplesoft and/or ImageNow (or similar) experience a plus
